“after the cartridges are empty, what does the customer do with them ?”

• Cartridges are not refillable. I recycle them through a program at church.

• You are supposed to return to HP. There is a free mailer with every pack of cartridges.

• When your new cartridges are sent HP includes a postage paid envelope which you can use to send back the old cartridges at no charge. Alternatively you could take them to your local Best Buy for recycling as well.
