- Answer No, there are zero free state e-files. State E-files cost $19.99 each. You can minimize costs for state returns by filing hard copies by mail.

- Answer Yes, get both the electronic option for filiing - Excellent if you're in a hurry or late. And, the mail in option. I've used both depending on the situation
