No, there are zero free state e-files. State E-files cost $19.99 each. You can minimize costs for state returns by filing hard copies by mail.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are 2 different TurboTax Deluxe 2016 products distributed on DVD. This product (BestBuy SKU 5622130) does NOT have the ability to file a state tax return. There is another TurboTax Deluxe 2016 product which is sold by BestBuy that is $10 more that does do state tax returns (BestBuy SKU 5622127). Note that TurboTax also has a cheaper product line which enables you to prepare your tax using their web software (not installed on your PC) but beware that there are differences between the web version and the DVD version. For instance, TurboTax Deluxe distributed on a DVD includes schedule D (capital gains) while TurboTax Deluxe web version does not include schedule D.
