If it's Win 7 premium then that is the upgrade to win xp. If it's pre as in the beta for Win 7 then you'll find that it's limited to what it can do compared to the full premium or pro versions. Win xp might be tough to get at this point. A while back microsoft stopped distributing xp for new computers and stores were allowed to sell off the copies they had and computers that came with it until they were all gone.
