I think you can only be Bluetooth connected to one device. So if you are connected to the rock speaker(s), you have to disconnect from the Bose.

While you can have your iPhone connected through Bluetooth to your Ion speaker, while also having the auxiliary cable connected to the Bose player, your iPhone may only route the audio to one source at a time.
