• I have a case as well, adds about 1/2" to my phone and the charger fits well

• I have a case on mine as well...adds approximately 1/2" to my phone. The charger holds it well.

• The side clamps are pretty long, they could probably hold an inch thick phone if you had to. Problem is, I don’t think it will wirelessly charge through a battery case.
