With the dog and shedding I would definitely get the 890 with the rollers vs brush. i have a cat that sheds and it is worth it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two dogs and the 690 picks up the dirt and hair like you wouldn't believe. The only reason why I didn't get the 890 was because I didn't want to pay extra to get the vacuum to empty itself.
