Yes goes right over lip and carpet to wood vice versa easy. I just mapped it to stay away from my cords

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does not go over thresholds because of the height. It also depends on the height of the rug. I have tile in my laundry room, dining room, kitchen, entryway and bathrooms. I do have a area rug in my dining room and bathrooms there is no problem with this Roomba going from tile to to those rugs. In my living room I have carpet which is medium pile. This Roomba has no problem with the carpet or going into the entryway with tile and back to the carpet. I hope this helps! We love this Roomba no problem with it at all. We have been a Roomba owner since 2016 right now we have 3 of them for each section of the house. I don’t see us living with out them. It is really wonderful to have the base that empties them for you.
