does the vacuum fall off stairs null

All our robots come equipped with Cliff Detect sensors that allow them to avoid falling down stairs and other drop-offs.

It is supposed to sense stairs and not fall down them. I found mine twice defying gravity by hanging over the stair edge. It never fell somehow.

Our home is all on one floor, so havent checked for stairs here.
