It should. It fits in lieu of a standard cassette tape. Please see my review.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about the 2005 Dodge Caravan specifically - but it works just fine on my 2006 Volvo S80 / iphone 6 combo - the cassette stereo in the volvo is also the factoty installed unit. Good luck.
