The j5create DisplayPort-to-HDMI (JDC158) display cable is mono-directional cable designed to go from a computer with a DisplayPort output port to a monitor with an HDMI input port. Unfortunately, it is not possible to go from a computer with an HDMI output to a monitor DisplayPort input with a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter, such as the JDC158 cable. -j5create

• Then why isn't 'mono-directional' written clearly on the front of the box? I just bought this cable for nothing
