The j5create DisplayPort-to-HDMI (JDC158) display cable is mono-directional cable designed to go from a computer with a DisplayPort output port to a monitor with an HDMI input port. Unfortunately, it is not possible to go from a computer with an HDMI output to a monitor DisplayPort input with a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter, such as the JDC158 cable. -j5create

• A:Answer The 4K HDMI to DisplayPort Cable will not work to connect a PS5 (HDMI out) to a monitor with only a DisplayPort input. That’s because DisplayPort inputs do not natively accept an HDMI signal, and a passive cable like the JDC158 can’t convert the signal, it simply adapts the plug shapes.
