This adapter is really intuitive and excellent at charging and data transfers. No software nor drivers were required to operate this adapter, its adapting is on auto! I use it nearly every time when I want to transfer or view files via USB Drive / SD card adapter from my USB-C smartphone. It reads and writes just like as if it were an internal SD card in my Smartphone. I'm actually using it right now while I write this review, its connected to my smartphone and its USB SD card adapter connection is really stable, the light on the drive remains consistent as I move around my phone. The USB-C adapter also works like a charm on my laptop's C port, the charging is fine and drive files are smoothly read and written. When I was looking for a USB-C connector to my laptop, this was way better as a wire, it's super durable and easy to use. I think this'll last me a long time. Would reccomend considering its value.

The Insignia USB-C to USB adapter makes it easy for me to connect devices that wouldn't otherwise communicate directly with each other via cable. I use it every few days to back up my laptop to an external hard drive or when I need to plug my phone into my laptop. It's compact, very sturdy and a cinch to install. Great value!

Great product and does a good job looking normal hanging from my device essentially extending the USB-C port from the device to allow me the room to plug in my wireless dongle. Basically I needed to extend the USB-C port in the front of my PS5 while allowing a standard USB A to be used. The two USB ports in the back were already occupied. This did the trick and the price was right.
