This adapter is really intuitive and excellent at charging and data transfers. No software nor drivers were required to operate this adapter, its adapting is on auto! I use it nearly every time when I want to transfer or view files via USB Drive / SD card adapter from my USB-C smartphone. It reads and writes just like as if it were an internal SD card in my Smartphone. I'm actually using it right now while I write this review, its connected to my smartphone and its USB SD card adapter connection is really stable, the light on the drive remains consistent as I move around my phone. The USB-C adapter also works like a charm on my laptop's C port, the charging is fine and drive files are smoothly read and written. The Insignia USB-C to USB adapter makes it easy for me to connect devices that wouldn't otherwise communicate directly with each other via cable. I use it every few days to back up my laptop to an external hard drive or when I need to plug my phone into my laptop. It's compact, very sturdy and a cinch to install. Great value!

When I was looking for a USB-C connector to my laptop, this was way better as a wire, it's super durable and easy to use. I think this'll last me a long time. Would reccomend considering its value.

Great product and does a good job looking normal hanging from my device essentially extending the USB-C port from the device to allow me the room to plug in my wireless dongle. Basically I needed to extend the USB-C port in the front of my PS5 while allowing a standard USB A to be used. The two USB ports in the back were already occupied. This did the trick and the price was right.

Don't forget to get one of these on your next phone or computer upgrade, otherwise you'll have to go back to the store to get one. My flash drive are older USB-A ended item. You know how this USB stuff goes. The build quality on this is quite good, and you can always pretend it sports an Apple or Samsung logo.

Works perfectly! I'm using it to connect my CasioTone lk-s450 to my android phone in order to send Midi files directly to the keyboard. It required a USB-micro to USB and i need this adapter to get from USB to USB-C for file transfer. Going from USB-C to USB-micro without the adapter did not work, so this was my solution.

What can I say??? It's an adapter cable that allows you to use a USB-C port, with a USB 3.x device (backward compatible as well). Treated properly, you should NEVER have to replace it!

Handy adapter! I use this to easily connect USB-A connectors to my Apple Studio Display. Since the Studio Display ports are all USB-C and on the back of the display this allows me to easily make a connection without having to turn around the display all the time to plug into the back of the display.

I bought it for my wife because her new SurfacePro does not have the older usb ports that she needs to connect to her printer and older usb drives. It works flawlessly.
