The JUH470's USB ports are intended for mice, keyboards, flash drives, web cameras. If you are looking to simply transfer data from the camera through the JUH470 to the computer, then yes that should work. If you are wishing to connect a CD drive of some sort to the JUH470, more than likely that will not work due to power requirements of the optical drive; it is recommended to connect such heavy wattage devices directly to the computer instead. Transfer data to a flash drive utilizing the JUH470?; yes, that should work.
