The USB-C to Dual HDMI Multi-Monitor Adapter does not require DP Alt Mode. However, it does require an installation of a driver and depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply. Please make sure you have full admin rights to complete the installation process. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab > "Downloads/Drivers". Thank you.
