• Because the LG Stylo 5 does not support DP alt-mode which is when the phone supports video/display via the USB-C port, you will not be able to obtain video/display using the JCA379. Instead, we recommend exchanging the JCA379 for the JUA165C and that will work for you. Simply download the j5create Display App onto your phone and it will work. ** Feel free to contact the j5create Technical Support team for further assistance if necessary.

• The attached usb-c cable goes into your phone. You need a separate HDMI cable; one end goes in the adapter, other end into your tv. Select that hdmi input on your tv and voila, you should see your phone screen on the tv.

• I am trying to use the JUA165C on my LG Stylo 5 and it will not play videos unless they were taken by the phone. I cannot play videos from Vudu which is what I was hoping to do.
