How do I hook this up to my phone and tv null

You connect the adapter to your phone's usb-c port. Plug your normal usb-c charger cord into adapter. Connect a HDMI cable from adapter to your TV.

The type-c connector would attach to a supported device (laptop, mobile phone, etc.) and a HDMI cable would connect from the adapter to the TV. The TV would need to be on the correct input source and depending on the device being used, there may need to be some configurations made to project the display to the TV screen.
