“I have a T520 Lenova connected to two Dell S2440L monitors through a docking station. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now can't get the monitors recognized. Will I solve the problem by using VGA to HDMI connectors?”

The JDA214 will successfully convert HDMI to VGA, you will need available USB ports as well to power the adapter(s)...but, upgrading to Windows 10 should not cause the monitors to become unrecognized, I would check/update device drivers for the laptop via Lenovo's website or check/reinstall any drivers associated with the docking station, making sure they for Windows 10 operating system.
