Q: QuestionI have screen flicker on new monitor/older desktop. Is the USB to power the adapter or add sound? Others have said add sound, but description says power. Should it be plugged to the desktop?

• A:Answer If your phone supports video output via USB-C, models such as the JCC153G will work for those intentions. If your phone does not support video output via USB-C, the JUA165C will work for you. Please keep in mind that if you wish to watch streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO, you may experience issues due to HDCP which is copyright protection. You should be fine for simple mirroring your phone screen and watching YouTube.

Q: QuestionI'm trying to connect from a desktop to a projector, TV, and another monitor. I can get 3 of the 4 to work. I got this splitter. Do they make it where it has 2 hdmi connections or only the 1 ?

I recommend that you look into our JUA365 (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/j5create-usb-3-0-to-dual-4k-hd-hdmi-multi-monitor-adapter-silver-white/5615018.p?skuId=5615018) as an alternate solution. However you will be limited by your graphics card/chip on how many displays your computer can handle. For example if your graphics card/chip can only handle 3 displays, you will only be able to output 3 displays.

Q: QuestionI have a laptop with 1 HDMI port..and I have 2USB ports as well as a USB c port . My 1st external monitor is Hdmi to hdmi...no prob...2nd is a TV with VGA PC port and HDMI.. will this allow me to make the TV a 2nd monitor?

• A:Answer If you are referring to a KVM switch, we cannot guarantee that will work. The JDA214/JDA204 is intended to connect to a computer via VGA and USB and an HDMI cable going to a monitor directly with nothing else connected in between.

Simply plug in the USB-A male end into the laptop and the VGA male end into the laptop and an HDMI to HDMI cable 10 ft long or less and you should be seeing the display on the monitor, TV, projector. It sounds as if you may have it plugged in incorrectly. Depending on what the make and model of your laptop is, we can recommend a different device that will work for you. The JDA214 is intended to be plugged into a computer via USB-A and the VGA male ends and have an HDMI to HDMI cable going out to a monitor, TV, projector - it is not designed to receive a signal, but to send a signal out. You would need to use an HDMI to HDMI cable to connect from the game console directly to the monitor, TV such has the JDC52. However, the JDA213 would also work for you if you have an older monitor that supports VGA, but you would not have audio if you use VGA. ** Feel free to contact the j5create Technical Support team for further assistance or if you have any other questions and someone will be glad to assist you.

• A:Answer The cable length of the JDA214 is 6.9 inches. However you will also need an HDMI cable to attach from the device to the Monitor you are tyring to use, this will increase the length between the computer and monitor.

• A:Answer Ideally yes this device should work for that situation. A potential issue is that the USB stick is supposed to transfer sound and potentially provide more power. For me I do not need to have the USB plugged in as I have external speakers. Others say the USB provides power for the cable, but for me personally it works without.

• A:Answer If you're looking to turn a HDMI output to connect to a VGA input, then no. This device will take a VGA output to a HDMI input. If you need to connect a HDMI output to a VGA input then you'll need a HDMI to VGA converter. Be wary however my personal experience with these is that they tend to distort the image, perhaps because I buy cheap products.
