Yes, the Transmitter unit connects to a computer and the Receiver unit to a display, both with an available HDMI connection. Please pair the Wireless Display HDMI Extender by connecting both units to a power adapter and stack them on top of each other. (They must be stacked on top of one another to pair). This is because they use NFC (Near-Field Communication) to pair. Once both units are on, press and hold the pair button on the back of the device (you may need a needle to push the button that is inside the hole) until both units’ lights are blinking. They will both flash red or orange, and finally green when they have been paired.

So long as your computer has an HDMI output that you can connect to the transmitter's HDMI input and your tv has an HDMI input that you can connect to the receiver's output. The transmitter and receiver then connect wirelessly.
