“I want to use this for dj-ing in a pub. I can already plug an HDMI cable into an HDMI jack in the wall that feeds all of the TV's as long as they're tuned to the correct channel...I imagine this will work the same from anywhere in the room?”

I was able to transmit from my Dj setup to a hub the bar had that tied all the tvs to my display. Yes it is possible.
