• No the are not. I had the same problem. My ears were hurting within the first five minutes and only got worse the longer I had them in my ears.

• I also get the Elite sport and hurt my ears, I return it and replace it with the 65t and fits much better, this fits perfect and I do not hurt anymore, because are smaller and light.
