Aim the boom (pointy part} of the bud towards your mouth. Otherwise, I'd exchange them for working ones. These buds are well known for the excellent call quality

So moved to area with less noise to accommodate for phone call, but I will say sometimes background noise will not pick as much most times. Just have to judge surrounding noise. Plus speak regular tone of voice people tend to lower there voice while on call.

I hear every single thing in the background. I would definitely take these back if you can and get something far more better for the same price. If you find out anything that would cancel out noise, let me know! Lol. Good luck.
