Unfortunately you can only use the right bud independently. The left bud is a "slave" the right.

No. When you remove one from your ear, the other one doesn’t play

No. The right ear bud controls the left. If it is taken out, the unit goes to sleep. The left can be omitted, and in the unit I owned, it was regardless as it would only work 15% of the time. If you haven't purchased these yet, don't. Or research "Jabra 65t earbud not working" and then make up your mind.

Hi Jj - You can use the right earbud independently, but the left earbud cannot be used independently. If you use the right bud by itself, you will need to control the volume and skip tracks from the connected device.
