I think you push a button and say hey Siri for iPhone to work that way. Not sure what you would say for Android and Google. Hope this helps.

Just say "Hey, Google" for Android phones with Google Assistant. I have done it while listening to music thru the Jabra Talk 25.

I have IOS and when I push the button on the surface of the Jabra, I just saw call whomever, or facetime or send a message.

It communicates well with your cell phone and so I'm sure you can communicate with Siri or Google to have the phone call someone for you.

The calling feature is a function of the cell phone and not the Bluetooth headset. But yes, I can use voice commands through the Bluetooth headset to dial a number for me.
