Hello Becky - As long as your phone supports this, the Jabra Talk 45 will indeed announce the contact who is calling. Make sure that your phone supports the Bluetooth phonebook access profile (PBAP) and that the name of the caller is stored in your phone book. You will also need to 'accept' any permissions that appear when pairing the Talk 45 to allow access to the phone book.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I used it with my Galaxy S7 Edge, and it does announce callers if they are saved in my contacts. If the caller isn't in your contacts, then it just tells you the number that is calling. I think it syncs up to Google Assistant some how.
