Take them back. The sounds sn't great from these when they're working but it's not as bad as a blown speaker for sure.

When I use it (I usually only use one headset, unless I am at the gym) for phone calls, my wife says she cannot tell I am using a Bluetooth headset.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.take them back, there should be no distortion. I would try to hook them up to a couple different Bluetooth devices just to make sure it wasn't the streaming device just to make sure.
