• No, my husband is in the excavating industry and he uses it to shovel etc. You will be fine. He even plays football and baseball with it on.

• I do a lot of outside work (not fishing) and have never had it remotely come close to coming off. Maybe if it got caught on something and bent off as it is very pliable.

• It depends on how hard you flip your wrist when casting. I coach football and when I throw the football normally it is fine, but when I throw a hard ball it sometimes comes off.
