- Answer It all started with Apple when they stopped including iPhone chargers in 2020 to reduce "e-waste." Step one: Monkey see. Step two: Monkey do. Step 3: Profit & greed. Same with charging a monthly "subscription fee" for everything now. Blame Salesforce and Adobe for that.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. The range between two or more JBL Charge 6 while using Auracast is approximately 15 meters. This depends on the environment the speakers are in and how crowded that wireless enviroment is.

- Answer No. It's "water proof" up to about 5 feet if and when it is dropped in water. I suggest getting one of those floating speaker trays or making one yourself by 3D printing a tray and cutting up some pool noodles.
