You can't see the OSD from the Soundbar because you have your source connected directly to the TV and are viewing it by selecting the appropriate HDMI input on your TV. The sound is then being sent to the SB400 via ARC. This is the best way to use the SB400. However, if you want to see the OSD of the SB400, you must connect your TV receiver (cable or satellite box) to the SB400, and then send the signal to the TV via the HDMI/ARC connection. You will now be able to select the HDMI/ARC input on the TV and will be able to see the OSD. However, this will sometimes give audio/video sync issues because very often the SB400 will be able to process the audio faster than the TV is capable of processing the video. This is the main reason why it is recommended that you connect your sources directly to the TV, as you already have it.
