I had the same problem. 1) Turn the headphones off. 2) turn your Bluetooth on in the iPad 3) press and hold the 'on' button on your headphones for 6-8 seconds. 4). You should see your headphones appear on your iPad

Typically, the Everest is going to automatically try to pair with the last device it was concocted to. Make sure the iPad Pro is in search mode, and press and hold the power button down for extended period of time until the audible voice states, "JBL Everest in now ready to pair" At this time, the Everest should show up on your devices on the iPad Pro.
