A:AnswerHi there, the JBL Flip 4 is compatible with both Android and Apple phones, you can put the Flip 4 into pairing mode by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 3-5 seconds and then going to your phone's Bluetooth settings and find the Flip 4 to connect to it. If you run into any problems, please submit a case request and so we can assist you: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/customer-service/contact.html
A:AnswerHi Jimmy, thanks for asking. The Flip 4's Bluetooth range is up to 10m or about 32ft. This could be less if your connection is experiencing interference/interruptions. This is how to prevent that:
-Always have clear line of sight between your Bluetooth device (speaker, headphones etc). and source device (Smartphone/tablet/PC etc). Be aware of obstacles in front of your devices.
-Try to shutdown products that has Bluetooth but not being used. They are often the reason for interference even though they are not being used.
-Do not stand too close to our Wi-Fi router since a Wi-Fi signal is stronger and in many cases will "overlap" the connection.
-Be aware of walls around you. Concrete and brick walls will often interrupt the signal, as it cannot pass through such thick walls.
-Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water, which includes the human body. Make sure with Wireless Headphones to keep your Source device and the receiver on the same side of your body.
-Open space such as parks can cause issue for your devices, as open air is "bad" for any Bluetooth signal if it cannot reflect from objects around you.
A:AnswerHey Jeanne, great questions! You should be able to connect your JBL Flip 4 speaker to your laptop through Bluetooth but you won't be able to add Alexa because our speaker isn't designed as a voice-activated speaker that works with Amazon Alexa.
A:AnswerFor the Flip 4 which has the Connect + feature, you can actually connect more than 2 devices which has the Connect+ feature and can reach up to 100+ devices at the same time.
