Questioncan the battery be replaced in the jbl speakers

- Answer Not without breaking the seals that keep it waterproof. My battery didn't last very long past warranty period. When it failed, it failed completely. I can't even keep it plugged in and turned on. I replaced the battery, but now the Bluetooth doesn't work. It sucks this speaker cost this much then doesn't last very long. Disappointed in JBL. I'll buy another brand. Done with JBL. Support didn't care.

- Answer Question 1. NO Question 2. Normally an 1 hr with the charger it came with it. Can be longer depending on what level the battery was left with prior to charging. Hope this helps!

QuestionIs there any way to eliminate the off/on sound event that plays when the speaker is turned off and on? It's excessively loud and I would really like not to have it at all. Thank-you!

- Answer I charged mine for 4hrs to get a full charge. you can still play music while it's plugged in and charging.

- Answer Yes it's compatible with Siri and Google Assistant. It will accept commands from either. But not from Alexa. You also have to configure the play button to work as an assistant with the JBL connect app. Be sure to make sure your Flil is paired and connected to your phone before you open the JBL connect app. Otherwise that app will never discover your speaker.

- Answer I do not recommend this model for sustained listening to music that is mixed in a way that challenges the integrity of the speaker. Mine blew out after a few months of light usage.
