• I've have played music and set an alarm on this device and the alarm went off and then the music continue playing really fast back to where it was.

• The Alarm feature is after you set it up through wifi with the Google Home app. Once it's completely set up, you can talk to it to set up an alarm and it'll set it up separately from your phone.
