• Yes, you can use it on the airplane. I've used it with the in-flight entertainment system and it works well. Also, do not listen to JBL customer support. Their answer is provided from a corporate database and is limited what they can say. You do not need an adapter. The audio cord that comes with the headphone plugs right into the in-flight entertainment system.

• If you wish to clear any noise while riding on an airplane, we recommend turning on the Noise cancelling on our JBL Live 650 BTNC. You may need a flight adapter to plug the headphones to the airplane jack.
