I'm very happy with these headphones. I used them daily and they last more than 6 hours. They recharge really fast and even when they are not charged they can be used as regular headphones by just adding the audio cord. The noise cancelling feature is perfect, I cannot hear someone talking next to me or outside noise at all. The app allows you to connect to Alexa and configure specific sound modes. The mic works well, I have not heard complaints from callers. I like the build quality, they come on a nice carry bag I used at the beginning but stopped using it after a few drops and letting my kids use them. They are simply roughed, well constructed and hard to scratch or break. The pads are high quality and still holding up like if they were new. I paid more for a PS4 gold headset and the pads began to peel off after a few months of use. As far as dislikes, the audio cord I wish it was a little longer and with standard inputs on both sides. The jack going to the headset is smaller. The cord as the headset is high quality, not a deal breaker. Compared to other headsets like Sony, Bose or Beats these are a great choice if you looking for high fidelity sound and base and of course price.

Bought these on a whim because they had a great sale. They have much better ANC than Sony, comfortable ear muffs, good battery life, great sound reproduction, and they easily integrated with Google Assistant. They don't fold up very easily to store in the pouch that came with them, and it will take some time and getting used to to develop the muscle memory when adjusting volume, power, and ANC, I have to take them off and make sure I am mashing the correct miniature button. But, I would definitely recommend, and I would make the purchase over again over any other over-the-ear headphones I tested that weekend.

These JBL Live 650BTNC wireless noise headphones are FANTASTIC! Battery lasts all day long use and great noise cancelling. Padding is so comfortable over the ear and around your head that you forget you have them on. Much better than headphones in your ear that could cause blisters if you wear them all day. Extremely easy to use buttons. Great quality at an even better price! I mentioned Battey life lasts all day, but I haven’t figured out how to track Battey life.

While yes, these are super useful and I’m glad I have them these aren’t the best quality.
I do like that you can listen to music, take phone calls, and that I can walk a few feet away from my phone while completing tasks and not lose the connection too much.
However, sometimes people have a hard time hearing me. They complain a lot about background noise drowning my voice out. Especially when it’s a public place where you it’s not a good idea to raise your voice. I mean, do you really want to shout “ALMOST DONE!” in the middle of the grocery store because the grandparents (whom I love and deeply appreciate) can’t text and are worry warts? Not me! Can you imagine the stares?
Another thing is that it very slightly degrades music. It’s not the same experience as listening to it on the Bose speakers..,from 2008. Not sure if it’s one of those “they just don’t make things the way they used to” situations but I digress on the criticism.
Again, I’m glad I have them. I rather have them than not have them. Maybe I’m just a little spoiled from past products but these are good.

Piece of crap.
Failed at less than 6 months. Began to make funny and unusual beeping noise at month 3. Would not turnoff even after following customer service direction let battery die then recharge it fully then press Vol +/- at the same time to reset. Nothing happened. It just stay on until battery dies off. You would think something so expensive would last a bit longer.
I do own a piece of skullcandy and this thing won't stop working. Still rocking after 5 years. Foam fell off but still plays. I needed ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) when I am home and at the local coffee spot. That is why I purchased this. The JBL650 has failed me.
Will try a Sony or Bose next time.

It has great sound quality but there is much room for improvement.
I bought a pair of these in the middle of June 2020 right before I flew back home. By September 29 the skin on one of the ear pads started lifting off (If I'm not wearing it it's in the JBL pouch). On top of that, when using the Bluetooth instead of the chord, if you reach to touch one of the buttons on the side of the headphones it says "Google Assistant Unavailable".
The only reason it's not swapped by now is because I'm in spending the semester Jamaica.

Great design and comfortable. For the price I expected a better sound quality. Also, when I turn on the noise canceling feature, the feature will turn itself off. I guess the bottom I am disappointed in these headphones. The price does not match what I’m getting.

I tried a bunch of other wireless "mid range price" headphones and kept being disappointed. The Sony's seemed to increase ambient wind noise rather than reducing it. They also weren't super loud and I didn't love the bass. They were the most comfortable.
Tried the Skullcandy "Crusher" and they just all around sucked. Muddled horrible "bass". I'm honestly shocked that anyone likes them.
Tried the Sennheisers too, but didn't love them. Not great sound and they weren't very loud. Also not super comfy.
Finally tried the JBL and I LOVE the sound quality and comfort. They are maybe just a bit small for my ears, but I'm a big person. Bass is nice and rich. Sound is crisp and full. Battery life is good. They feel like a quality product as well. Just a nice solid build.
My only complaint is that they do NOT auto shut off. So if you forget to power them down they are going to sit there and use up battery life until you come back to them. I've set them down and gone to bed, only to find out my battery depleted most of the way over night. Now that I know that I'm more conscious about turning them off between uses.
Overall I love them though. I've had some great moments listening to music in them because the sounds is exceptional, especially for this price point.

I live audio quality, and I am a bit of a bass head, but these headphones are amazing! Got them when they were $99, which for that price, heck even full price, they are the best. JBL’s high and middle pitches are unsurpassed, now granted not the most bass heavy headphones, they still have a punch to them. Definitely comfortable, battery lasts for a few days worth of use. Also charge quite quickly. Durable, my little brother can’t break them. Easy to pair with any bluetooth device.

These headphones are the best headphones out there at this price point $200
The sound is crystal clear and they do have all the features you can think of in headphones like BT, active noise-cancelling, call controls, etc. They even have some good bass.
And the best part is that they perform each one of those features flawlessly if you read the instructions. They do look and feel very durable and sturdy so hopefully these will last for a long time. They come with a cloth pouch. so if you are going to take these on the road you might want to invest in a better carrying case.
If you want high quality headphones, with balanced sound and all the bells and whistles possible, don't look any further and get these. Why pay twice as much for other brands? Unless you are a bass junkie then by all means go ahead with other brands...

I've tested out skullcandy, bose, Sony, beats and jbl. Out of them all I found these to be the best and on sale for $99 can't beat that! As a person who uses Alexa a lot these are just what I needed. I bought myself a pair. Took them home and my daughter ended up liking them so I went back out to the store to get her a pair for Christmas. Trust me you wont be disappointed. For a parent that needs quiet time and to not hear your kids or spouse nagging these are great to have. They are noise canceling headphones. You can change your settings if you want bass or not. You can change how you want it to sound. It is awesome for gaming. I use it to play call of duty on xbox one. Plugs right in with the cord it comes with. And you can hear everything. I highly recommend these!

I bought these with a Yeti Blue microphone to upgrade my PC audio from a gaming headset. These headphones sound great! They offer the ability to connect via Bluetooth to more than one device at a time. For instance, I often connect to my phone and PC. If someone calls my phone and I answer, my headphones will switch from game audio on my PC to the phone. Audio is clear and crisp and the bass in these headphones is great! The headphones are also comfortable and can be worn for extended periods of time. Highly recommend!

Great sound out of these headphones. Bluetooth is excellent. Left my phone inside went outside to throw some trash didn’t lose connection. Also paired them with an LG TV. Sound was good. Noise canceling works. You can tell the difference. I’m no expert though. Download the app so you can do a firmware update. Just keep your phone close to your headset. Very comfortable around my ears. Battery life is great.

I had to return my extra bass Sony headphones because they weren't working as well anymore. Luckily, I had my warranty active and saw these on sale for $100. Only paid about $10 extra. After using them for a while, I ended up liking them a lot! They're comfortable, lightweight, and the noise cancelling function worked fine. I had never used noise cancelling headphones before, but it was pretty cool experiencing it for the first time. Part of me still prefers my old headphones, but I am happy I went with these. JBL hasn't let me down yet!

My favorite part of having these is when you put them on, turn on the switch and listen as all ambient sound disappears and you just hear...nothing! Listening to music on these is awesome as well. Tons of bass but not enough to overpower everything. I listen to a lot of orchestra music, especially movie scores. These headphones give an amazing clarity and separation to that music. If there is anything I'd change it might be that the volume doesn't go very high. I have to turn the volume of the music source to its maximum to get much volume. I know this is for safety reasons but, sometimes the music source is not particularly loud and you could use more volume. Still the sound you do get is really impressive. I love these headphones!
