That’s a good question. I have been wondering that myself because I know I don’t use this speaker for 18hrs but I definitely have to keep charging this speaker because the battery drains faster than that. I’m going to see what it does after my software update on the app.

The battery will only last 18 hours if you play the speaker at 50 percent volume with no bass boost.
