• my sister has the ue boom 2. now the ue boom2 is louder, it good highs of any sound source. with doing a side by side, the mid-low, and lows sound washed out compared to the pulse 2. if you like bass go with the pulse 2, the ue is just a little louder because of the highs frequency it can output.

• Yes, both my wife and son have a UEboom, and this speaker has much better sound
