- Answer As long as you have bluetooth you should have no issues with connection. If your ipad has a headphone jack you can use that as well.

- Answer Vast majority will be cancelled. You will hear an occasional voice come through, but it will still be very low. The biggest reduction is of the plane engines and general noise.

- Answer Probably. I have used ATH M50x and they are ever so slightly bass heavy. The JBL's are more neutral and would probably work well. As with most headphones, sub bass is a crapshoot and needs to be checked in other ways.
