“I know there's a USB cable, but I'm not sure if my wall adapter is quite right. I saw somewhere that it needs to be a 5v 1a adapter, but mine is 5v 1.67a. Is the amperage too high, or is it within an acceptable margin?”

• Generally the power supply spec for most devices is a minimum for the amps. So 1 amp or greater would be fine. I plug mine into a 2 amp supply and it works great. The charging device will use whatever current it needs and no more. You are fine.
