Can these be used to listen to TV with the TV sound muted? I need something to listen to the TV without disturbing anyone else in the room. I want a wireless connection. Thank you. null

I paired these (Bluetooth) to a Samsung Smart TV and they did function acceptably, with the main sound speaker disabled. 
(My TV disables the main speaker(s) automatically when Bluetooth is selected as the sound output option.)

Its only possible if your tv supports a bluetooth connection, if not then you will most likely have to connect with an auxiliary cord to your tv, buy headphones then buy an extension to be able to reach your TV.
