• This cable won't work. You would need a USB-A connector for laptop end and a USB-B connector for HP Envy 5530 printer end.

• U need a Printer cable, the has a squared connection on one end to a usb connection on other end. When u go to best buy, just ask an associate for a printer cable that connects to a laptop
