No. Wall mount weighs about 20 pounds Will need heavy supports in wall to mount to wall. Wood or steel studs

We only include hardware and installation instructions for these two mounting methods so if you decide to install it differently you'd have to determine a safe solution. To answer the second part of your question, most 46" Samsung TV's are quite light and typically use a 400x400 VESA bolt pattern.
