Hello, thanks for reaching out. If you are referring to the empty space in the backplate, we don't recommend placing any power outlets or cable outlets in this section as when you retract the mount it will crush the cables. This mount also does not have horizontal offset, it can only be adjusted by 1-2" at the most. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any other questions or concerns.
