• Yes, we purchase this back in June and we have it sitting on top of a TV stand, just make sure it is the right size for your stand and it will work great.

• Several factors to consider: 1. How heavy is your TV? Add the TV and stand weight and determine if your TV stand is able to support both. 2. This stand is really short so if you set it on the floor, you will be looking down at your TV. I bought a sturdy table about 24” tall and the TV (with the stand) fit just right. I think a 30” or 36” table will have a better effect.
