• This is a tricky one, the puncture holes are in a different place than on machines past. You may be able to get away with it, but I had to buy a new filter for the single brew. Although, I did NOT own the official Keurig universal filter. The replacement wasn't expensive though, around 6$ I think, at Target maybe? On the plus side, the carafe has its own permanent basket filter, which is built for re-use and CAN be cleaned.
