• Yes but someone could find it and disarm the system and gain entry to your home so not a good idea

• It contains a battery that can be subjected to moisture, but I’m sure if the temperature does not go below freezing and is stored in a Ziploc bag, you would be OK with its function. Perhaps add a small desiccant bag to your storage bag to mitigate moisture.
