• Only if UNL (unlocked). I put the SIM card from Consumer Cellular service and it works texting, emails, Internet as well. See image receipt and the first letter as UNL you can buy then put Verizon SIM card. Hope this helps.

• Hi there, yes, it works great on Verizon and my plan is prepaid with 3gb data. Email, text, BB hub, all aps work great, transfering data from my old BB Priv was easy, just a great upgrade. Could have a better camera tho, Priv beats it there, but overall, it is a great upgrade. And to clarify, all I did was taken out the sim from Priv and put it in this device, no calls to Verizon, nothing, everything went smooth, phone gives you directions how to transfer data, getting a new phone was never easier ..
