- Answer It is set out of the box to recirculate back into the room. The fan has to be pulled out and rotated in order to vent outside.

- Answer No, this is an issue we struggled with. we finally were able to get 17.5 inches clearance after remodeling the base of the overhead cabinet. now we do not get our arms steamed or burnt when using the rear burners on the stove.

QuestionIs it ok to rely solely on the recirculation capability of the 1.9 cubic foot convection OTR MW for both the MW and the range beneath it? That is, get rid of the current external venting to avoid costly rerouting of the duct in our soffit?

- Answer Yes. It can easily take the place of a hood vent but it cannot move the same amount of air as a hood vent. And yes it can vent to the inside or to the exterior if you want
